1Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. 2It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives to his beloved sleep. 3Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward. 4Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. 5Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.
The second part of the first verse is important to me because it reminds us that God watches over us. But not only that, if we take it upon ourselves we will tire in vain.
Don't wear yourself out watching over the lives and things that God has given to us (temporarily). Let Him guard us. He will do a much better job.
My Prayer for You
Kareah - That you will enjoy your day. That Ezra will allow you the rest that you need. That as you create in your art room that God will bless your mind and abilities.
Chloe - That as you spend time with your Pamaw that you will continue to learn obedience, and how to be helpful to those around you. Be a blessing. Kind, pure, modest, and happy. And as you are around DanDan that you will see and learn from a man that is like the one you want to marry (if you ever do decide that you want to)
Corban - That as you spend time with Pamaw that you will learn from her as I did. She knows you better than you know, because she had your daddy. And as you spend time with your DanDan that you will learn from him how to fix, ride, and play all kinds of things. You should take advatage of the knowledge that God put you around.
Ezra - That God would continue to bless you with strength, health, and the wonderful spirit of compliance that you already have blessed us with.
Our Family - That God would bless us. That He would hold back our enemies and allow us to prosper. I pray that He will bless our minds with wisdom, our bodies with health, and our spirits with obedience and faith.
Live like you love your name. It's a good one.
